How updates move through the platform

“Updated” does not just mean a new source file arrived. Each dataset moves through a short cleanup and publishing flow before the latest public data appears across the site.

LCA pipeline

LCA Intelligence

LCA data is collected from public Department of Labor disclosures, cleaned up, and then published across employer, job, salary, and location pages.

  1. 1

    Source disclosure is collected

We collect public ETA-9035 disclosure data from the Department of Labor and preserve the filing-year context users filter on across the site.

  2. 2

    Normalization and cleanup run

Employer names, job titles, locations, and wages are standardized so cross-year comparisons stay readable and useful.

  3. 3

    LCA pages are refreshed

The cleaned LCA data is published across the homepage, LCA overview, employer intelligence, job intelligence, salary intelligence, and location intelligence pages.

H1B pipeline

H1B Intelligence

H1B data is grouped by fiscal year so employer, job, location, and industry pages stay fast and consistent.

  1. 1

USCIS petition data is aggregated by fiscal year

Public H1B approval and denial disclosures are grouped into employer, job, location, and state summaries across the available fiscal years.

  2. 2

    Cross-entity summaries are updated

State, employer, job, and location views are refreshed together so the major H1B pages stay aligned on the same public coverage window.

  3. 3

    H1B pages are refreshed together

H1B overview, employer profiles, job profiles, location pages, and ranking views are updated from the latest processed public data.

PERM pipeline

PERM Intelligence

PERM includes core case data plus additional employer, job, location, processing, and denial views, so some specialized pages may refresh shortly after the main case data.

  1. 1

    Baseline PERM cases are loaded

Public ETA-9089 case records are loaded first, preserving fiscal year, status, job, employer, location, and prevailing-wage context.

  2. 2

    PERM insights are refreshed

Employer, job, state, country, salary-gap, processing, and denial views are updated after the core case data is cleaned and aligned.

  3. 3

    Refresh timing is tracked

We also track refresh timing so users can tell when the latest PERM updates were processed into the site.

Coverage year is the public source window

If a card shows FY2020 to FY2026, that is the public coverage currently loaded into the site for that dataset. Older history may exist in other programs, but it is not implied unless the page shows it explicitly.

All-years and latest-year answer different questions

All-years totals are best for long-horizon sponsor patterns. Latest-year volume is best for answering what the newest public cycle looks like right now.

Derived views can trail baseline tables

This is most visible in PERM. Core baseline cases may already be current while niche derived tables like denial patterns or processing cuts still need a follow-up rebuild.
